Crochet Anne Boleyn Doll Pattern
Anne Boleyn was the second wife of Henry VIII and the events surrounding
the annulment from his first wife, Catherine of Aragon, and Anne's
subsequent execution are marked by the English Reformation. Sadly I
haven't been able to base this off of a full portrait of Anne (unlike some
other people most are just the upper body) but rather general Tudor
fashion and writings about her dress. I've depicted Anne with a French
hood (Anne was raised in France and said to generally dress in the French
fashions), which has become widely associated with her, attempted to give
her some Tudor sleeves and fur sleeves (regal, no?) over top of
that.
This pattern is available for purchase on my Etsy shop (along with more details) or raverly.
It will come as a downloadable PDF, which includes multiple pictures to follow along with and is worked in one piece. This pattern is in English and uses US crochet terminology.
A finished version of the doll is also available.
